The conveyor can hold two pieces of bread side by side, increasing the capacity to toast 250 slices per hour. Because the conveyor speed is variable, the operator can control how much the product is toastedthe longer an item is toasted, the darker the finished product will be. Forced convection supports uniform toasting by circulating heat throughout the chamber. During slow periods, the unit can operate in standby mode, which can reduce energy use by 75 percent.
