Measuring 36 inches wide by 1612 inches deep, the Vollrath 40717 electric griddle has three separately controlled cooking zones. Operators can adjust the temperature of each zone on the front-mounted control knobs. While the knobs have guards to eliminate the risk of accidental changes, each zone can be heated to 570 degrees Fahrenheit. Providing even heat distribution, the elements are positioned under the cooking surface, and this unit heats up quickly and recovers heat after food is added to the 12-inch-thick plate.

Side and rear splash guards are integrated into this Vollrath 40717 commercial griddle, catching debris and grease splatter to keep nearby surfaces clean. Grease is collected in an internal pan that can be removed to ease cleaning, while the stainless steel front and side splashes resist corrosion, dents, and scratches. Adjustable legs elevate the unit and keep it stable on countertops.
