One of our best units is the Traulsen RIF332LUT-FHS roll-in freezer. Its exterior is constructed of stainless steel that is resistant to rust and corrosion. Its cabinet and doors contain high density, non-CFC, foamed in place polyurethane insulation. The interior is also constructed of stainless steel. It provides protection with readily removable, interior-mounted, stainless steel guides for racks. (Racks sold separately)

This unit has three sections with full height, self-closing, solid doors. It was designed with the understanding of how hectic a busy kitchen can be. The last thing you need is for all of your goods to spoil because the door was left open. Accidentally leaving a door open will just be a terror of the past! Not only does the door self-close, but it has a stay open feature as well. If you push the door past an angle of 120 degrees, the feature will activate. This is a particularly nifty characteristic, especially when you’re trying to stock up.

The standard operating temperature is -5 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Located behind the one-piece louver assembly is the top mounted, self-contained refrigeration system that has a 1/2 hp compressor and uses R-448A refrigerant. This unit uses Traulsen’s Smart Control with LED Display which features advanced control algorithms and sophisticated diagnostic capabilities to optimize performance. Utilizing Smart Sensors, it adapts the operation of the system to a variety of environments and usage patterns. The Smart Control also offers a complete set of visual alarms designed to alert the user to critical events such as power outages or a prolonged door opening. In the event of an alarm, a dedicated Alarm LED will illuminate, informing the user of the critical event and duration; describing the event in large, easy to read, full text display.

What are the clearance requirements?

For optimum performance and service access, there must be a minimum of 12″ from the top of this unit to the ceiling of your commercial kitchen. Before purchasing this freezer, please be sure your kitchen is tall enough to accommodate the amount of space required for it to run efficiently.

How tall must my door be in order to get this unit into my kitchen?

This unit stands at an elevation of 83-1/4″ in height, however the height of a standard door is 80″. It is your responsibility to measure your door before purchasing this item. However, please note that we will do all that we can to ensure this unit can get to where you need it to be.
