A heavy yielding sweet Italian pepper traditionally used when still green, pan fried and salted and served like Padron or Shishito peppers. Also pickled and referred to as pepperoncini they are served on sandwiches, in salads and as antipasto.
Pods grow to a length of about 10cm and mature from green to red. The medium tall plants can be grown either in the ground or large pots and plants can be top heavy due to the weight of the fruit, so be sure to give them plenty of support.
Approx 80-90 days to harvest.
Seed count varies ranging from 10-20 seeds per pack depending on supplier – please call ahead for confirmation.
