Verde Valle Arroz Precocido – Mexicana Rice 140gm – overstock special

The flavor of Mexican-style rice in just 5 minutes!

Precooked rice is incredibly popular in Mexico. This Verde Valle Mexican Red Rice is super tasty and really easy to make. Mexican red rice traditionally has peas and carrots and is super versatile.

Ingredients: rice (85%), chicken-tomato seasoning (maltodextrin, tomato, salt, hydrolyzed vegatable protein-soy), beef chicken powder, onion, garlic, spices, paprika extract, vegetable oil, turmeric powder, brewers yeast, flavour enhancer (621, 330, 631, 627), colours (129, 150d), antioxidant (320), natural flavours, anticaking (341, 551), dehydrated vegetables, vitamins (B1, iron, B3, thiamine, folic acid).

Contains: Soy, Milk, Gluten.
May contain: sulphites.

Cooking Instructions:

On the stove:

1. Put 260 mls of water into a pot. Bring it to the boil and add the contents of the pack. Stir to incorporate.
2. Lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from the heat, stir the rice with a fork to fluff it and cover the pot to rest the rice until you are serving it.

In the microwave:

1. Put 260 mls of water and the contents of the pack of rice into a large plastic or glass bowl. Stir to combine and microwave for 5 minutes on high. (timings may change depending on your microwave model)
2. Remove from the microwave and fluff the rice with a fork. Rest covered until serving.
